loft in beitmisk — hero

loft in beitmisk, 2022

a loft in beitmisk built to dissolve the line between inside and out, conceived as one continuous form rather than a set of rooms. walls and openings are treated as parts of a single surface, so the space flows uninterrupted, like a vessel meeting the sea. its palette is a journey in itself, beginning in the warmth of light brown wood, passing through deep reds, and resting on the honesty of black steel and concrete, a gradient you move through as much as look at. daylight enters from skylights cut into the insulated roof, shifting hour by hour and bringing the surfaces to life. the result is small, exact, and entirely open, architecture reduced to flow and light.
